St Matthew's Academy, Saltcoats
Projects ten years apart by Fairways Sportsgrounds have contributed to the sports facilities at St Matthew's Academy, Saltcoats. In 2007 with main contractor, Barr Construction Ltd, a full size multi-use synthetic grass pitch; an International Amateur Athletics Federation standard synthetic running track, a natural grass track infield suitable for football, and four seven-a-side natural grass football pitches were created. Four existing natural grass football pitches were also refurbished.
Ten tears later in summer 2017 the IAAF running track was re-done by the same team who had worked on the original.
