The family-owned Fairways Group Ltd now employs around 50 people across the

, sure-footedly growing its businesses year-on-year. It comprises three diverse yet complimentary companies in the sports amenity sector with its hub adjacent to Glasgow Airport, perfectly positioned for all transport links.

Fairways GM Ltd provides ground care machinery and equipment to golf courses, local authorities and professional clients. Since being appointed Ransomes Jacobsen dealer for Scotland in November 2004, and Wiedenmann dealer for Scotland in December 2006, it has become a market leader in its field. With a progressive outlook, it has operational bases and workshops at Kinross, Inchinnan, Inverness and Aberdeen.

Wiedenmann UK Ltd was founded in 1991 and is the sole

importer of turf and grounds care machinery manufactured by Wiedenmann Gmbh based in Rammingen,

Germany

. Known most notably for the Terra Spike brand of deep aerators, it supplies its products through a network of stocking dealers across the

Ireland

and

Iceland

. Wiedenmann UK regularly attends the major turf exhibitions to support dealer activity.
