Mary Erskine School, Edinburgh
In autumn 2008, Fairways Sportsgrounds handed over a synthetic hockey pitch at the independent Mary Erskine School, Edinburgh. Using a sand dressed FIH-approved surface from Edel Grass, the new pitch is the first of several installations for the independent school sector that are in plan. Included in the contract was the installation of floodlighting, ball-stop banking and secure perimeter fencing.
