Airdrie Leisure Centre

This North Lanarkshire Council project comprises the installation of a 3G synthetic grass pitch to IRB (International Rugby Board) standard which is also fully marked for 11-a-side and 7-a-side soccer play. This phase included the removal of the existing grass surface, regrading of the pitch, earthworks, associated drainage, stone and tarmac base works, construction of a 3G synthetic grass football pitch complete with ball stop fencing, floodlighting and general landscaping.

In the coming months a natural grass pitch will be constructed where a blaes football pitch previously existed, including gravel raft and full drainage.
